Brand Brain
The source of truth for your brand — positioning, character, guardrails, and content pillars — that every other part of Creaon reads from.
What Brand Brain is
Brand Brain is the strategic layer of your brand — a compact, structured set of facts, not a place to draft content. It's deliberately small: a handful of fields that everything else in Creaon can reason from, rather than a long-form brand document.
What it stores
Every field below is live and editable from Brand Brain → Edit/Set Up:
- Primary niche (required) — the specific space you operate in.
- Positioning statement (required) — who you serve, the outcome you deliver, and your approach.
- Key differentiator — what makes your approach unmistakably yours.
- Brand promise — the outcome your audience can count on, in a few words.
- Personality traits — the character that steers your voice.
- Creator strengths — what you're uniquely good at.
- Audience pain points — the problems your audience is trying to solve.
- Brand opportunities and brand risks — used as strategic guardrails.
- Content pillars — the 3–6 recurring themes your content returns to, each with an optional short description.
Only niche and positioning are required to save Brand Brain. Everything else can be filled in gradually — the screen shows you exactly what's still missing.
Filling in each field
The positioning statement has a template built into the field itself: "I help [audience] [achieve outcome] through [approach] — unlike [alternative]." It doesn't have to be quotable copy for a bio — it's read by the AI Strategist and Content Studio as context, so being specific matters more than being polished.
Personality traits and creator strengths shape voice and tone; audience pain points, opportunities, and risks shape what Creaon treats as worth addressing versus worth avoiding. Content pillars work best as themes, not individual post ideas — "Personal branding systems" rather than "My 5-step branding checklist."
How complete your Brand Brain is
The Brand Brain screen shows a live "signal coverage" percentage, based on four groups: strategic core (niche, positioning, differentiator, promise), character & audience (traits, strengths, pain points), opportunities & risks, and content pillars. It updates as you fill fields in — there's no separate step to mark it complete.
Where Brand Brain shows up
- Content Studio grounds AI-generated drafts in it instead of a blank prompt.
- Content Ideas scores new ideas against it — that score is the "Brand Alignment" figure shown back on the Brand Brain screen.
- The AI Brand Strategist reads it before answering anything.
- The Brand Brain screen itself also displays your Voice & Tone dials and lexicon, and your Audience persona's motivations and preferred formats — because they're the same brand, read together.
