Product Tour
How the in-app Product Tour works — what it covers, how to navigate it, and how it's different from onboarding and this Help Center.
What the tour covers
The Product Tour is a short, anchored walkthrough of the real Creaon navigation — it highlights an actual sidebar link or button on the actual page, rather than showing screenshots in a separate environment. It covers, in order:
- Welcome — the overall idea that your brand, content, publishing, and performance are connected.
- Brand Brain — the source of truth other screens read from.
- Identity, Voice & Audience — how you look, sound, and who it's for.
- Content Studio — where drafting happens, grounded in your Brand Brain.
- Content Calendar — scheduling and automatic publishing.
- The "New Content" shortcut in the top bar.
- Analytics & Performance — where published content becomes measurable signal.
- AI Brand Strategist — where that signal turns into a recommendation.
- Connected Accounts — linking the platforms the Calendar publishes to.
- A closing summary of the loop.
When it appears, and starting it yourself
The tour opens automatically, once, shortly after a new account first reaches the dashboard. Dismissing it — by finishing it or skipping it — means it won't reopen on its own again.
You can restart it anytime from Settings: open the "Product tour" card and choose "Restart product tour." This reopens it from the first step without affecting anything you've already set up.
Getting around
- Next / Back — move between steps; Back is hidden on the first step.
- Skip — closes the tour immediately from the × in the corner.
- Finish — appears on the last step and closes the tour.
- Keyboard — the right and left arrow keys move forward and back, and Escape closes the tour from any step.
Each step's highlight and card follow the real element they're describing, and reposition automatically if it's near the edge of the screen or the window is resized. If a step's target genuinely isn't on the page for a moment, the card waits briefly and then centers itself rather than pointing at nothing.
Product Tour vs. onboarding vs. this Help Center
These three are easy to conflate, so it's worth being precise:
- Onboarding (the guided setup at /onboarding) collects real information and writes it into your Brand Brain, Audience, and Content Pillars — it changes your data.
- The Product Tour never asks for input and never changes anything — it's purely a guided look at navigation you can already use.
- The Help Center (what you're reading now) is reference documentation. It's public, doesn't require you to be signed in, and has no concept of progress or completion.
