Content Studio
Where you draft content — manually or with AI grounded in your Brand Brain — and send it to the Calendar.
What Content Studio is
Content Studio is a single-piece editor: a title, a hook, a body, and a call to action, saved as one content item. You can write entirely by hand, use the AI tools alongside the editor, or mix both — nothing here requires AI.
A piece can arrive already started — opened from a saved Content Ideas entry or from the Calendar — or you can start from a blank draft.
The real workflow
The screen tracks five steps against your actual draft, not a fixed checklist: Title, Hook, Draft body, Review, and Schedule. Each one lights up based on real state — a body under 40 characters doesn't count as drafted, "Review" only completes once the item's status is In Review, and "Schedule" only completes once it's on the Calendar.
Save your draft before using any AI tool below — hooks, titles, review, and repurpose all read from the saved content item, not from unsaved text still in the editor.
AI generation, and how it's grounded
Every AI tool on this screen assembles the same real context before generating anything: your Brand Brain, Brand Identity, Voice & Tone, primary Audience persona, content pillars, your recent content, and your connected platforms — the same assembly documented in Using Your Brand Intelligence with AI. None of it is generic.
- Hook Candidates — generates 3 distinct opening hooks for the saved draft, each with a short angle label.
- Title Options — generates 4 title variations with a one-line rationale each.
- Draft Review — a qualitative read on voice alignment and pacing, plus 3–5 concrete suggestions. It's deliberately not a numeric score.
- Repurpose — reformats the saved draft into a different format (e.g. a short-form script), in your voice.
All four require an AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) configured on the account — without one, the tools are visibly disabled with an explanation rather than silently failing.
Voice rewrite
The same "Rewrite in my voice" tool available on the Voice & Tone screen works from any text — it isn't limited to your own drafts. It's a separate tool from the four above, reachable from Voice & Tone rather than embedded in the Studio editor itself.
Manual editing vs. AI assistance
Manually editing the title, hook, body, and CTA fields always works, with or without AI configured — Content Studio is a real editor first. The AI tools are optional accelerants: generate a hook you like, then edit it by hand; or skip them entirely and write the whole piece yourself.
Saving, and what comes next
Saving a draft persists it as a real content item you can return to. From there, a draft can be sent to the Content Calendar to be scheduled, at which point it takes on the Calendar's own scheduling and publishing lifecycle — covered in Content Calendar and Publishing.
A draft itself has no performance to show — that only exists once a piece is actually published. From there, real numbers become reviewable in Analytics & Performance, with platform-specific detail in Platform Analytics.
Current limitations
Content Studio doesn't claim platform-specific formatting beyond what you write — there's no built-in preview of how a draft will render on a specific platform, and available direct-publish targets from this screen are limited to whichever of TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and X are configured on the account. Twitch and Spotify aren't publishable from here (see Publishing).
